The piece that I have arranged is the folk song “Shenandoah”. While the beautiful, lyrical melody is universally loved, it was actually the text that ultimately drew me to Shenandoah. The sense of longing seems incredibly pertinent to what we are all feeling this year—“I long to see you, I long to hear you.” In fact, I have set up a special section at the end of the piece for your singers to specifically share this message with each other.

You will also get *incredible* sung rehearsal tracks recorded by Matt Curtis and his team of professional singers at Choral Tracks. They have expanded to include soprano and alto singers on their tracks, so the product is better than ever at helping your singers learn their part.

Moreover, you’ll get an instrumental accompaniment track orchestrated by Johnny Del Toro. Johnny is an award winning orchestrator and producer who has scored for video games and films. This track will instantly reward your singers even as they rehearse on their own with the power of an orchestra behind them. It will also enhance your performance, whether it be virtual or in person.

You and your choir program will be recognized by director, school, city, and state on my website as a participating ensemble. If you record or film your performance, I’ll share that video on my social media, too! It will be a poignant way to connect our singers across the country.
